Why would you jump in and abandon ship? It seems Ludacris with a visual like that, but so often we do this in our challenges of life.

Avoid. Throw in the towel. Give up. Turn out back. Say, It's not for me.

Believe me, I have experienced some hefty waves in the past four years. Runner up in my pageant three times and heading in for a fourth try is a small example of what waves I'm navigating.

I question WHY a lot. Why am I going in again? Why out myself in such a vulnerable position? Why dedicate so many of my previous hours to this?

It has required so much healing, inner work, and complete commitment to go through another pageant season and it is waves incoming daily.

But I tell you, I am a master of my ship. I have not stopped and I will make it through to the beautiful vistas I know are beyond my storm.

I want to be the person that shows you, even though I've "struck out" in the past, I may be just one swing away from a major home run. The more I get experience, the better i will be. I'll know and appreciate what I'm capable of and my capacity to impact and connect with others will be on a completely different level.

Keep going. Use those muscles. Use your support system. Do the work. Hoist the sails.

Don't abandon the ship. ⛵

If you want to shift to an abundance mindset instantly, try this....

1- Think of something you wanted that you currently have.

For example, I wanted to own a company with my husband.

2- Then say out loud, "I wanted (the thing you thought of), and I have it!"

For example, " I wanted to own a company with my husband and I do!"

When we recognize the things we wanted and now have, it will shift your focus to more and more answered wants.

The universe and human brain are amazing.

You guys! I am so excited to tell you that I have been podcasting again. I have missed it dearly and I'm looking forward to sharing with you everything about Build it Beautiful and allowing people far and wide to be able to use the curriculum and the tools to become amazing leaders.

People can be born with an affinity towards leadership, but anybody can learn better tools to be leaders. Frankly, I feel like our world needs it now more than ever. With such high anxiety and low mental health, we need people who can break those barriers. We need people who know who they are, know where they're going and want to bring others along.

Did you know that when you hire the wrong person f

Did you know that when you hire the wrong person for a position in your business, it will cost you anywhere between 1x and 27x their base salary? Yikes!!!! If you even have a base salesman at 50k a year, it could cost you about 300k if they aren't a good fit (usually sales pros are about 6x). That can get pricey.

Entry level jobs are 1x and executives are 27x.

Knowing how to hire well is important in your business.

One thing we do that we got from Topgrading (on Amazon) is to have the applicant set up their own reference calls for you. It REALLY weeds out the people not really interested in working for you. It requires them to make contact with who they used to work for... And you can already tell it would cause some hesitation in some.

Also, If you know anything about me, you'll know I despise clowns. My co workers thought this was hilarious at my desk. Needless to say I've been working remote all month 🤣🤣🤣
